RoviTracker, a West Jordan-based company, created a rental management software that integrates remote monitoring for heavy equipment users which provides a means to gather and analyze data so clients can gain insights on their business and remote equipment.

Through RoviTracker’s web-based system clients can view GPS coordinates, engine run time, fuel percentage, battery voltage, light activity and current sensing allowing customers to conduct preventative maintenance on their heavy equipment.

RoviTracker recently surpassed $6,000 in monthly recurring revenue and has the largest light tower manufacturer in Utah, MobilLight as a client and reseller. In addition, they’ve just signed three additional rental companies in the last month, IDT Rent from Idaho, Simon Equipment Rental from California and GPEC from Canada, who’s end user is one of the top-3 oil companies in the world.

“The biggest value with BoomStartup has been the opportunity to meet with experienced mentors in the BoomStartup network,” Alain Eav, RoviTracker CEO said. “The seasoned mentors with experience in business and product development has been incredibly helpful. I’ve really enjoyed the ability to go to Robb Kunz or Sumner Douglas or other mentors with any questions at any time.”
