This fireside chat is where Judy will explain what a strategic investor is, and why it’s important to identify their character, expectations and the give and take that they should inherently do when they invest. Judy will share tips on how to find and select these investors and how to engage them by soft-sell networking. It’s important to look at strategic investor identification and vetting similar to a sales pipeline, and why disqualifying investors is actually very helpful to your business growth.
Judy will also cover the importance of investor matchmaking, how trusted references play a part in establishing a connection and also how entrepreneurs can talk about long-term alliances such as vision, product roadmap and growth path, and eventually, exits.
