RiseUp

Can you stand and deliver your company’s message in ways that grab the most intimidating listener?

It’s your business, your story, your brand, so it needs the BEST of YOU to show up and deliver, every time you speak, whether it’s a planned or impromptu, in front of friends or skeptics. What you say matters – how you say it matters even more.  You’ve got to confidently articulate your big ideas in ways that resonate with your audience to influence action. That’s the moment you’ll ignite the attention and support of investors, prospect customers, employees, and media.

This RiseUp Sprint will teach founders the essential techniques to turn your pitch into a value conversation. You’ll discover how to grab the spotlight and stay top of mind through a conversation.  Join this session and hone your pitch to perfection with skill and authenticity.

Who should take this cohort?

Every founder who wants to be a persuasive leader to accelerate business growth. You can be the CEO, or the head of finance, engineering, operations, or sales and marketing. The skills you learn in this cohort will set you up to master pitch performance skills and increase your leadership abilities in both internal and external interactions.

Because this is a ubiquitous topic, we encourage founding teams from a company to take this program together! It will up-level your brand impact when your executive team knows how to be a confident, empathetic, persuader.

Homework and Outcome
Prior to joining this small group Sprint, please prepare a 3-minute presentation deck to pitch in the first session. It should have a summary, a pain point, a solution, and an ask. The content could be anything, such as asking for funding, asking for a sale, asking to hire, or asking for an endorsement.

Day 1 – you will present it to Jan Nolte, the RiseUp expert who will provide feedback and also introduce the three essential techniques to conquer nervous energy, create lasting impact and deliver an effective call to action.

Day 2 – you will present the most important 1-minute aspect of your pitch again, incorporating the feedback from Day 1. Group discussion and practice will focus on top skills for nailing a Q&A, skills to master performance mindset, as well as on camera or in person delivery techniques.

Day 3 – incorporating coaching and group feedback, you will present your full, 3-minute pitch and answer a few select Q&A from the group. At the end of the session, you’ll set a pitch goal that challenges you to deliver your pitch multiple times in the next 45 days after the Sprint.

RiseUp sprints are week-long engagements, entirely focused on helping you solve your most head-scratching business problems.

Sprints are led by experts who identify, address, and solve similar issues so frequently, they can quickly understand the source of your problems and offer advice as you create a smart plan that will help your business rise. Each sprint is attended by a hand-picked cohort of founders facing similar challenges, who learn from the expert leading the sprint and each other.

This isn’t like taking a class to learn the basics of running a business. RiseUp sprints drill down into specialized topics, asking “what’s broken?” in your business model, product, organization or execution. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and be assigned (and complete) homework, while diving deeply into what’s holding back your business. Rise Experts are there to guide you, but they aren’t going to do your job for you. It’s up to you to lead your company to growth as you hypothesize better outcomes and create and execute your plan.

Sprint to the top with RiseUp.
