Social media is essential to startups as it connects them to the audience in a cost-effective and subconscious level.
When a person decides to buy from a startup, their trust must be earned. After all, customers share private information, such as their credit card and contact information, and most of all, their hope that your company will deliver value and take care of their needs.
If your startup plans on promoting your product, app, or anything else on any social media, the first thing people check is your company’s social media accounts. If the graphics, photos, profiles, or anything else look suspicious it will most likely deter possible customers. They also check who else follows you and their comments and feedback.
Often startups think that setting up social media channels is the hard work, yet it’s just the beginning. Companies who master social growth hacks answer these questions.
- How will you reach your target customer through social?
- How do you ensure your ads are effective?
- How do you grow the channel following to be legitimate, engaged, appealing?
These questions will be answered by an expert who’s built communities for influencers, celebrities, and startup companies.
You should expect to learn how to set up your profile pictures and biography correctly, how to predict the algorithm, finding your target audience on social media, growing your page, and creating the perfect advertisement.

Don’t let his understated presence fool you, William knows how to create social media campaigns that attract and retain the RIGHT audience according to your brand need. William appreciates the power of presence and how critical it is for early-stage startups, because he has started his own mobile app company while earning his bachelor’s degree at the University of Utah.
William claims that he gained his specialist skills by spending too much time on Tiktok. So, he was determined to figure out how to capitalize on the system and began managing social media accounts for some of the biggest YouTube Creators Tiktokers, actors, and startups, such as Jimmy O Yang, FNMeka, RTFKT, and the Spacestation.
While making mistakes he also created some of the largest follower base because he constantly was tracking what worked and what didn’t.
William Pepper does freelance consulting work and channel management for people, startups, and organizations.
RiseUp sprints are week-long engagements, entirely focused on helping you solve your most head-scratching business problems.
Sprints are led by experts who identify, address, and solve similar issues so frequently, they can quickly understand the source of your problems and offer advice as you create a smart plan that will help your business rise. Each sprint is attended by a hand-picked cohort of founders facing similar challenges, who learn from the expert leading the sprint and each other.
This isn’t like taking a class to learn the basics of running a business. RiseUp sprints drill down into specialized topics, asking “what’s broken?” in your business model, product, organization or execution. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and be assigned (and complete) homework, while diving deeply into what’s holding back your business. Rise Experts are there to guide you, but they aren’t going to do your job for you. It’s up to you to lead your company to growth as you hypothesize better outcomes and create and execute your plan.
