About Organizers
Rob Bagot Founder and CEO, Storymachine Films 35 years ago, a jingle writer visited Rob Bagot’s 7th grade class. Since then he has thought of little but advertising. His first job out of Cal, Berkeley was writing ads for Apple computer. From there he went on to be named San Francisco’s copywriter of the year — he was the youngest ever recipient. Over the last 30 years, Rob has held Chief Creative Officer roles for some of the biggest names in the business, including McCann-Erickson and Ogilvy and Mather. During the last 10 years Rob began to write and direct all of his own commercials, and went on to launch a hybrid ad agency/production company, Storymachine Films, in 2018. He specializes in helping emerging companies find and perfect their video voice. One of his finest moments was presenting to Steve Jobs who, inexplicably, actually liked his work.
