California? If that was your guess, you’d be wrong. Colorado? Wrong again. Washington? Nope.
Topping the list, according to a recent Forbes article, is Utah. Each of the states in the top ten received sizable injections of venture capital, but when combined with socio-economic factors such as the working-age population and the opportunity share for new entrepreneurs, it’s no surprise that the ecosystem BoomStartup calls home comes in at number one. We already knew Utah was the place to be.

As you may have heard, we’ll soon be selecting companies to receive an infusion of capital, along with more structured and intensive mentorship to accelerate their company. We’ll be leveraging Assure’s innovative software platform for creating and managing venture deals. More to come on that soon, because there is a lot to do in the meantime! We’ve been meeting with some of the top investors in our network to get feedback on our strategy for 2020, working on re-initiating our strong mentor network, and securing sponsors for the year to come.
